This online drawing  class teaches you how to use all your art supply stash! Supplies Me is perfect for you if you already enjoy drawing  and would like to extend yourself into art journaling. This workshop owes its huge popularity to the word-of-mouth recommendations from my students.

“The best value art supply you will ever find.”

As I said in the video, I LOVE art supplies. They just make me happy!  But I am not creating a museum …the only way to truly understand and unlock the potential of your tools is to use them. So as part of this innovative workshop, there is a program of intensive (not scary!) drawing lessons and tips to kick start your creativity into high gear.

So as you are experimenting with your art supplies in different ways, you will also be learning:

  • to draw the basic structure of the feminine face
  • how to shade and add colour.
  • how to render creamy skintones.
  • I introduce you to my amazing technique for drawing figures!
  • Learn to draw smiling and laughing faces.
  • Specific lesson on hair.
  • What single pen was nominated by all the famous artists I interviewed?
  • The emphasis is on gorgeous, whimsical faces and figures!

Learn at your own pace

Each Lesson in my classes features a new skill that is designed to build your creative confidence. As you move through the course from beginning to end, your skills and confidence will grow and you will feel comfortable with the progression.

    • You have 12 months access to your Workshop.
    • over 65 Videos!
    • Pause, rewind and rewatch each lesson as often as you like.
    • Full tutor support.
    • $125 for the whole Program.

A few more details.

      • I have created this class so you can take all the time you need and let the magic happen!
      • All sessions for the Self-guided study classes are up when you arrive. This means there’s no waiting for projects to be posted and you can take the course at whatever pace works for you.
      • You can revisit, rewatch, recharge and remind yourself of all the art supplies, all the drawing lessons, all the mixed media inspiration whenever you want.
      • You need never feel embarrassed about not ‘clicking’ with a new skill straightaway. It’s a terrible feeling when you feel left behind, or that you dont ‘get it’ and everyone else does in a learning situation! But you will NEVER feel that way in my classroom because you can pause and rewind, and ask questions.

Supplies Me has as its beating heart, 8 week-long sessions devoted to a different group of art supplies. The classroom is vibrant and full of the energy and beautiful, developing artwork of the 700 plus Alumni

3. Watercolour week: Transparent, vibrant and unpredictable…the three qualities I love most about watercolours!

4. Ink Week: Lovely, flowy messy ink!

5. Pens and Markers week:I did my fashion illustration training in Paris and markers were my weapon of choice. I have adored them ever since…let me show you a few tricks!

6. Pastels Week: Soft, squishy and tactile…its time to get your hands a little dirty!

7. Acrylic Paint Week; There is something magic about paint…it just feels so nice to use!

Anyway I have order the gorgeous peerless water colors ( I couldnt not get them) I am not sure if i should get some prismacolour pencils and some arylic dabbers. What are your thoughts?

  2. Leslie Lockstampfor says:

Hello Jane, I am wondering if taking both the Supplies Me & i HEART drawing classes together at the same time is going to be overwhelming? Perhaps I don’t know if they DO run concurrent….I am interested in getting the discount for signing up for both so any insight would be greatly appreciated.

    • They are both suitable for Self Study Leslie, so you can do them one after the other if you like…. Or do the live class with I heart drawing first and then go back and do supplies me! Whichever way you do it will be fun and it will be great to have you in class!

Hi Jane! God, I have so loved crossing your creative path. You have inspired me more than you realise! After surviving Breast Cancer, having one hip replaced at 47 as a result of an accident and now requiring the other side replaced, and then suffering major depression, I discovered your work and your INSTITUTE OF CUTE while holidaying in Byron Bay. I felt at home as soon as I walked in and was totally lifted by your passion for nature and colour! I joined the SUPPLIES ME classes but due to illness i am way behind! I am very interested in purchasing the VIMEO videos. What is the cost please, Jane?
Lots of love and happy days,
    Annie XO….

    Hi Jane,
I was just wondering if the course will be available to me 6 months after whenever I pay or if it is available for 6 months after a certain date? Thanks!

Hi Jane. I took the 1st Supplies Me class and LOVED IT. I went thru the whole class and have been practicing and drawing but not posting. Anyway, I was wondering how much longer I have access to the class? Also if I am reading it correctly I can join in this class again and participate for free?

Hi Jane, I have just signed up for the DRAW HAPPY workshop and unless I become your first absolute dud, I really hope to go on to SUPPLIES ME. I have ordered some of the pencils etc to get me started, but wondering if there are any other must haves for DRAW HAPPY? My plan is to create an Art Journal of quotes as the year progresses. Lots of creative ideas, absolutely no skill so will need all the luck and persistence in the world. However very excited to be giving it a go as I haven’t stopped thinking about it since visiting your shop a few months ago. x jenn

Am I able to retrieve them. Can you help. Ali x

  22. Laura says:

Hi Jane, I am interested in signing up for your ‘supplies me’ workshop ASAP! Just one question b4 I buy – do your courses (videos etc) work perfectly on the iPad?

    • Hi Laura,
I hope you join! I use an ipad withthe school sites everyday ( im using one rightnow!).
If you have a good wifi connection and can watch a Vimeo video , then you can see all the classes.
iPads and most mobile devices still are Limited with uploading photos of your homework, you still need access to a PC for that.

  23. Laurie says:

    Great, I’m excited! thank you!

  24. Alexandra Barcus says:

Dear Jane, I just went through Supplies Me as you may recall. If I hop on board in January and promise to add lots of positivity to my cooleagues work, can I post anything for you to see? Perhaps we could agree that no regular commentary is required from you, but I will do the Homework again, particularly some pieces I missed out on because I was a chicken. I was also in your first run through of Joynal, but submitted nothing. Can I participate fully, or do I need to pay again? I will gladly do whatever you have formulated as your policy. It took me forever to find a book I had the heart to dismantle, and then I dithered over the possibility of finding a story book heroine. But no more. I am ready to roll out on Nov. 2 if you tell me what my fiscal obligations are. Thank you so much for everything you have done and continue to do. I practice my drawing every time I get a chance. You make it come alive and be the delight it is. Too many teachers quash their students’ interest on day one. But you support and jolly us all through what we thought we hadn’t a hope of doing. I truly see a huge difference from the start of my classes with you to the present time. To be the next Rothko, Kandinsky or Rembrandt is a bit of a stretch, but I can reasonably strive toward drawing things which can be identified as people rather than a three-legged rat. Many, many hugs, Alexandra Please remember to take care of yourself as you do all this work, but I have to admit to liking the cool Band Aids.

  25. Hi Jane. Just wanted to let you know that I have enjoyed your workshop! I have been doing some art work of my own, would love it if you checked my blog out! But I am still trying to develop my individual style. I love this little course so much, it has given me even more ideas for work I want to produce. Big hugs. Rebecca.x

  26. Jenni D'Amato says:

    Hi Jane…

    Thank you
