I am a Francophile. Paris calls to my soul. I love her.
We go way back. My first trip on my own, away from family and friends was into Paris.
I went there to study Fashion Illustration and came home with overwhelming inspiration
and my definition of beauty broadened to include architecture, gardens and life.
I’ve been back to visit her over 20 times.
Yet, she is still a mystery to me… and that is what keeps me looking at her location on the map.
And it’s time for me to return to this most charming, most intricate, most eclectic of places.
I want to absorb her beauty. Be re-filled.
Soak up the grand contents of her art museums into my eyes again.
Walk under icons.
I want to sit quietly in her cafes and glorious green spaces and draw the passing Parisiennes.

Can’t wait for Paris!!! We are going to have a blast. For those of you contemplating doing this it is worth every single penny and so much more! I went to the first Escape Artist retreat in Bali and I learned so much and improved by leaps and bounds that my husband told me to sign up for the next one. Jane is an amazing teacher online but to watch her work in person…. I just can’t put into words.
Hope you can join us in Paris for an unforgettable art journey with Jane.
