| The Ladybird Chronicles is a large-scale, outdoor art installation that is like walking through a giant storybook. It's positive self-confidence message has captivated millions of vistors from around the world.
The Ladybird Chronicles was first seen as a large outdoors photographic installation to celebrate Jane Davenport’s tenure as the inaugural Artist in Residence at the Wollongong Botanic Gardens in 2003.
In 2004 the exhibition toured Australia including the Perth Zoo, the Tasmanian Tulip Fetival in Hobart, The Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show and Sydeny in Bloom.
in 2005 the exhibition commenced it’s World Tour. at the Ladybird Johnson Wildflower Centre in Austin, Texas and went on to tour to San Francisco and beautiful gardens, zoos and butterfly houses in Ohio, Minnesota, South Dakota and Missouri.
The Ladybird Chronicles has been featured on a wide range of media from national television, international magazines and to the Wall Street Journal.
The Ladybird Chronicles Book has grown from it’s original booklet form to a small book and is a favourite for exhibition visitors.
In 2006 travel plans are for Japan and Europe.
