Jane Davenport’s artwork has been continually exhibited in solo shows since 2001 and her work has been the feature of many high-profile events in Australia, New Zealand, the USA and Germany.

Here are some exhibition highlights:

The Ladybird Chronicles was created during my tenure as Artist in Residence at the Wollongong Botanic Gardens in 2004. The exhibition then went on to travel throughout Australia in 2005. In 2006 the exhibit went the USA. The LBC has been enjoyed by over 2 million visitors and was featured in the Wall Street Journal as a must see spring event.

This outdoor exhibition was created in 2005 as Artist in Residence at the gorgeous Hunter Valley Gardens. Giant postcards document the correspondence between Lady Bird and her grand-niece to help ease her transition into becoming a sophisticated lady.

Created as Artist in Residence at the Perth Zoo in 2007, which is internationally heralded for its conservation and breeding programs. 'What's The Buzz' was a rare opportuity to have insects and wee invertebrates on an equal standing with the zoo's famous charismatic mega-fauna (lions and tigers and bears, oh my!). The exhibition has travelled to the Adelaide and Melbourne Zoos.
