I’ve just been on a huge adventure in the USA and Mexico. And I have a lot to tell you… But I am sick, so, so grossly ill that I can’t tell you everything yet! As soon as  it feels as if the bus that parked on my head 2 days ago has rolled off, I’ll spill the beans.

But I have uncurled myself from the ball position that I am currently favoring to join in a blog hop for Dawn Devries Sokol’s new book ‘Art Doodle Love’. Dawn has quite a few books under her belt, my favourite being 1000 Artist’s Journals.

I carried the small and colourful book with me on my recent  journey, and drew in it relentlessly during some really bad flights… It was a mind saver. But it seemed that the more crowded, late and turbulent the flight, the better time I had when I landed! So it was a great way to fill in a few hours, or a few minutes here and there.

Dawn’s prompts are thoughtful and I find my pages pretty illuminating and funny when I look back on them..

I’m a big fan of drawing, as you know, and doodling ie: drawing with no goal in mind, just ‘because’, it’s fun and gets the creative juices flowing.

Dawn has created a beautiful place on each page to express yourself and have a little fun. I highly recommend this as a travel partner!

Dawn’s website is here: http://www.dblogala.com/

and you can see all her books on Amazon here:
