I Heart Drawing has had a complete overhaul … why? Because… I’m not sure why… but once I started making a few small changes and rewatching the videos, I thought of so much other cooooool stuff to share, better ways of explaining things…
I added how to draw different body types: Fashionista, Juicy, Whimscal and Kiddos! My Secret Heart technique covers it all. I have all my figure drawing techniques, principles, methods, tip, shortcuts, styles and effects! It’s fun boiling these things down and sharing them. The class is now 9 weeks long with Bonus vids, just in case there is a spare moment.
I am working in an altered book, which I show how to create… LOVE that book! Now that it’s nearly full and all juiced up with drawings and mess and creative outpouring…eeeee I love opening it, adding to it. It’s the only journal I don’t like other people touching. It doesn’t have more work in it than my others really. It’s just that it has my tipniques and illuminations in it.. my aha moments.. my picking away at 20 years of Life Drawing and Fashion Illustration observations and unravelling the elements of drawing from the imagination. Preciousness has weight.

I have also been working in secret on my next Workshop. I was hoping to have it up before I went to Bali, but as I really dug deep into I Heart Drawing, so to get it happening for next week, I would have to rush it. And what’s the point of that? At this point in my career, I don’t have to do things just for the sake of meeting a self-imposed deadline. I really enjoy putting my Workshops together, so I made an executive decision and decided to take my time and work on it in Bali. I was in a head-spinningly creative zone there last year, so I am just letting the magic unfold of it’s own accord.

I signed up for I Heart Drawing after the live session and am looking forward to going through it again since I missed all of that energy.
