I am sure other people must be more disciplined than I am. I seem to make plans, I love making lists. I enter to-dos in my ipad, keep up the electronic diary, and mark the whiteboard calendar … yet still… things happen. Suddenly. Abruptly.

And I don’t mean life-happens stuff. I mean I make sudden decisions.

Like buying a house and moving within 6 weeks.
Sometimes the time is just right, ya know?… unfortunately I seem to do this type of life altering trick when I am super busy. Am I crazy?

But here’s the kicker. I like it. I actually like crazy-woman-busy. Am I addicted to it? This self induced pressure? It brings it’s own sense of calm – yes… I know that sounds bizarre, but in my head I have the ringing bells of truth, clanging away. Is it because, the more I have on, the less time there is to panic? When I’m ‘under the pump’ I get calm… super clear and powerfully organised. I get  it done. Unimportant stuff falls away of its own accord.

So as part of this last minute, put-more-pressure-on myself  routine, I decided to have Supplies Me run as a Live class while I am setting up ‘The Nest’ ( more on the new digs soon!), redesigning my blog (you’ll be seeing the changes…), writing a book ( oh yeah!) and the upteen other exciting things going on. And I’m excited by all that! I know people think I work too hard, but it’s not work to me… its fun and challenge!

It’s my birthday this week, and I’m feeling very appreciative of everything the universe (and ok, some hard work!) has thrown my way…and whenever I run ‘Supplies Me’ as a Live class, all my Alumni are invited to do the workshop again. Thats a 600 strong team, so it takes courage to offer that!

A ‘Live’ class doesn’t mean I’ll be flying down your chimney and tap dancing around your lounge room (although that would be hilarious!), It means it’s running …well… live!  A bunch of awesomely creative lovelies all head off on this unique ARTventure together! There’s more energy, more artwork uploaded, more bravery happening and creative courage is what I am all about!

So! If you would like to join us, then come along! The more the merrier…

Happy Birthday! I know what you mean; with an essay to write and a Pathophysiology final coming up, I suddenly decide to e-publish the book I’ve been sitting on for 15 years & want it done now! On the other hand, I have the essay done & the book’s almost ready within 5 days. :)

Happy Birthday Jane! Hope you have a fabulous year! BTW- I function the same way you do! I thrive on “last-minute” and by that I mean I leave everything to the last minute too! I do also ‘make plans’ and lists, but prefer quick decisions too – I love planning a holiday in a hurry for example- I think it’s actually due to a lack of patience waiting for the holiday to come around! :o )
Best of homely luck to you and Angus with your new home – such fun! Yummy decorating and everything is new and exciting! Have fun! Vxx
